  Dr. William Smith-Mensah, MD possesses an excellent blend of comfortable professionalism with good old-fashioned bedside manner. He is as skilled as he is polite. He immediately engages his patients with a smile & earns their trust. Once he establishes a healthy rapport with his patient he listens to them attentively. His thorough exams are personal in nature & his feedback is constant. He spends quality time with patients & works as though time does not exist. I like him. He is very intelligent & answered questions for me during his physical exam often before I asked them. He seems to believe in Murphy's Law as he leaves nothing to chance. I believe he likes practicing medicine & loves to help people. We are blessed to have him practice in eastern Kentucky.
